RESTORATION

2011 Award 1st prize for Cotton Apparel Design Competition, Cotton Inc.

‘Restoration’ was inspired by the painting ‘The Roots and Thorn Bird’ (Frieda Kahlo). Her work captures the fundamental basis of human, patriotism, the relationship between humans and nature. This design expresses her arts to the detailed factors of the design. The flat pattern method is used to develop the pants, and the draping technique develops the bodices. Restoration presents hope and a future for her. Restoration shows that the jacket's collar was expressed in the wing to give the wing to her wound.
